One of the key components to this version of Forgotten Planets is an all new feature which allows you to harvest resource potential from asteroids and add them to a planet you own. This enables you to improve resource densities and other stats on your planets. With these blocks you are able to level planets. Levelling planets gives you benefits such as range, higher level refineries, resource matrices, and the all new crystal matrix. Below is a step by step guide on how to harvest blocks from asteroids.
1. Build a Block A Harvester
- Click Planet at the top of the page
- Click Planet List
- Click on the picture of your planet
- Once you see your planet page click Ship Construction to the right of the picture of your planet
- Under the Exploration tab under Ship Construction you will see 4 different levels of harvester
- Level 1 harvesters give you minor blocks while higher level blocks will give you a spectrum up to mega
- Choose which harvester you want to build keeping in mind token costs and block value
- Again higher level harvesters will give you more valuable blocks which will add greater amounts of resources to your planet
- Once you've decided, click Train under the harvester you want to build (note: I use only lvl 4s)
- Refresh the page and you should see Block Harvester training with an amount of time it takes to build.
- Wait
- Once the harvester is completed click on trained units at the end of the planet options tabs
